Partnerships for Success (PFS) Leadership Skills and Grant Writing for Sustainability Training 2018
Audience: Hawaiʻi’s community stakeholders and providers in the area of substance use prevention and treatment.
Course Contents: Importance of leaderships skills; defining leadership and the various types of leaders; leadership development; essential skills for any leader; resources for building leadership; how to find local funding to ensure sustainability; what qualities characterize a successful grant writer; writing a foundation grant; tips and tricks for grant writing. This training will be held in all counties.
Instructors: ADAD Epidemiology Team.
Certificate: Four (4) hours of continuing education credits approved by ADAD DOH.
