Positive Culture Framework Training
Overview:
The EWAlution 96706 community coalition and Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii are hosting a 2 day training on the Positive Culture Framework (PCF) presented by The Center for Health & Safety Culture (CHSC) of Montana State University.
The CHSC is an interdisciplinary center serving communities and organizations through research, training, and support services to cultivate healthy and safe cultures. The Center is dedicated to applying research to develop sustainable solutions to complex social problems. Their research focuses on understanding how culture impacts behavior - especially behavior associated with health and safety.
Objectives:
Participants will learn about the three components of the Framework: leadership, communication and the integration of evidence-based strategies for a comprehensive approach to prevention in their communities.
Participants will leave the training with specific next steps for implementing a Positive Culture Framework process in their community.
