Overview:
This 2-day training will help your agency to select specific programs, practices, and strategies that are appropriate for the community’s population, cultural context, and feasible, given local circumstances, including resources, organizational resources, and readiness to act, and that demonstrate sufficient evidence or support for documented effectiveness.
Training objectives:
Understand the different ways that programs can be considered evidence-based.
Define fidelity with program implementation and explore common challenges and strategies for improvement.
Consider parameters and methods for adapting EBPs. 4. Recognize how to select EBPs that fit your community needs.
